all is well that ends well

the guitar arrived in an unplayable state but after i got a new saddle installed (higher action), adjusted the truss rod slowly over 2 days as the neck was quite warped and put on higher tension strings it started to sound like i expected.

i assume (and a luthier agreed) that the issue stems from the instrument being in a warehouse for too long with loose strings.

i love the sound and feel of the instrument now and it is almost perfect for third wave (jazz classical) music.

I am very disappointed with both the response time(last email is unanswered for 2 days!!) and the nature of responses from Thomann as this was not a cheap instrument and they did nothing to compensate me for my troubles - both emotional and financial.

I believe that instruments in this price range should never be shipped without going through some kind of quality control.

Kudos to the luthier on a beautifully designed and produced instrument! Thomann disappointed me in this case and i will very likely buy another instrument from this luthier (either Nova guitars or Turkowiak) but I will skip Thomann as the middle man.

Amazing guitar

I have owned and played more than 100 guitars, and this instrument stands among the very best I have ever experienced. It does not merely compete with brands such as Martin, Taylor, or Gibson; rather, it performs at a very high level comparable to Kevin Ryan and McPherson guitars.

The craftsmanship is impeccable, the tonal response is rich and articulate, and the playability is effortless. In every respect, it represents extraordinary value for money. Thomann should have this model always in stock.
