...that the claw was just a tad wider and the clamp a little bit bigger. Otherwise outstanding for what it is.

Added to my gig essentials list. These things are well engineered. the hooks are removable from the clamps for transport. I use two of them on a mic stand to make my guitar swapping much easier in the show. No awkward swivel latches to deal with and the yoke fits Telecaster necks perfectly.

I no longer bring my guitar stands on gigs.

Good grip but offers no protection for your stand paintjob. If not the main body, at least the tightening screw will leave a spot as there is no padding at all. Kind of small diameter, it can just barely wrap around the THINNER pole of my Ultimate support mic stand. Would not use it with bass and 3-legged stands.
PS: worth noting that it holds perfectly my Ibanez EHB 5-string (non-multiscale).
