Pearl NP-208 Hi-Hat Rubber Washer

I have used these for years on all my hi-hat stands. These simply force hi-hat cymbals to return to their set position perfectly and quickly - not the case with the traditional felts which compress unevenly.

That's the benefit for me - for others they may offer another plus: a bit more "sizzle" from hi-hats due to less muffling effects than a felt that touches a larger area of the all-important cymbal bottom bell.

Anyway, highly recommended.

This is a really great little product and helps position your bottom high hat in the position that you want it to be in. The rubber material also prevents any wear around the contact point of the cymbal.

This is a fantastic upgrade for almost any hi-hat stand as it allows the bottom hi-hat cymbal to resonant more freely than with a felt underneath.

Bought this due to losing the original on a video shoot in a field back in 2007 and I'm still using it now with no sign of it wearing out anytime soon.

Put this on my DW9500 to replace the stock felt. Cymbal seats more evenly and increases accuracy on Hi-Hat top and bottom sync.
