Cheap ports, poor housing
Housing does not disassemble in two halves (as it usually does). It is also quite short for any DIY project to fit inside. It is probably large enough for a phantom blocker or fixed attenuator but not a transformer. Too expensive for what it is.

Does exactly what it says
I bought this as part of a wired in-ear monitoring kit, and I needed to be prepared for various cable set-ups. This little baby allows me to drive by balanced line from a mono jack output, and that's exactly what it does. A tough little unit that will survive life on the road.
