Modern, punchy bass drum sound with plenty of low end and minimal fuss when tuning.
Excellent bass drum head. I fitted it to a 24" Pearl Masterworks kick and it delivers a deep, punchy sound with plenty of low end while keeping unwanted overtones under control. The black ring (the SMT - Sub Muff'l Technology) damper, controls the resonance without needing a pillow inside the kick. It was easy to tune, feels solid under the pedal, and produces a focused, punchy, and controlled sound while still retaining a natural tone. Highly recommended if you're after a focused modern rock sound.
