Want low and punchy bass drum? - go for this head!

Strong, 2 ply head, no need to dampen the kickdrum. You can go higher tuning with more clicking sound or can go low and punchy. I'm playing mainly hard rock, sometimes thrashy metal things, it's doing the job.

Swietne head'y, w porównaniu do oryginalnych naciagów Tama, z jakimi kupilem perkusje, jest to upgrade o kilka poziomów.

Remo Powerstroke 3 bass head

The Powerstroke 3 is a classic design that broadly fits in line with the pinstripe range of tom heads; designed to offer some control to give a more powerful fundamental tone without dampening the resonance too much. It comes with a small adhesive kick pad that you stick on the drum where the beater hits to add some high end click that comes in very handy in a band mix.

This makes it a solid choice for many styles of drumming up to hard rock, although fast double bass players may find it lacking in definition a little. It definitely responds well to tuning in that you can get a wide range of sounds from it if you're prepared to put the effort in.

I have taken a star off quality because I've had a few of these in the past and found a couple of them to be a little more dead sounding than the others - it's possible the factory had some QC issues a few years ago, but I don't have a large enough sample to be sure of that.

Overall though, this is my favourite general purpose kick head, especially with a kick pad to add some definition.

One of the best bass drum head you can get for a 22" bass drum. It is a best seller for a reason. It's punchy, it has good attack because of the clear finish, and it has the low end. I tried many more bass drumheads, but this one is absolutely the best, it fits in music mixes more than any other brand's heads in my opinion.
