Sabian 12" AAX O-Zone Splash

Cymbal arrived in a traditional finish. Good cymbal for accents. Trashy and short decay, slightly metallic, thin and not piercing. Looks good, 12" is a good size for an in between crash and splash size. This cymbal doesn't sound so great if hit quietly; its sound is too isolating, so it needs to be hit harder to be appreciated. This cymbal is not very durable, due to its thickness and a preference to hit it quite hard and the fact that the holes are close to the edge, so be warned. Overall, not the perfect cymbal but great nonetheless. There will be some people that will absolutely fall head over heels in love with its sound, I was just not one of them. Maybe you will be.
