This mouthpiece has transformed the experience of playing the trumpet for me. Having played on similar sized Bach and Yamaha mouthpieces, I found that this generates less resistance than either, but there is no price to pay in terms of range or endurance. If anything, both have improved. So, I feel more like I'm playing the instrument than fighting it. Obviously mouthpiece preference is a personal thing, but if you're looking for a 'free-blowing' mouthpiece, I would recommend this. The depth of the cup produces a rich, full tone.
