Selmer Axos Alto Sax

Bought the Axos Selmer altosax and it was exact what I needed. I used to play Yamaha 280, the studentsaxophone that was really good for it’s price, but this was something else. Very good in intonation and the mecanic works brilliant. The tone is a little bit darker wich suits my playing great! Strongly recommending this sax! And the Selmer standard mouthpiece with a legere reed 2,5, is now my favourite!

I upgraded my YAS 475 to this. The sound has something special in it,something extra. It truly is a worthy upgrade. You might call this a "Selmer" sound? I paired this with Theo Wanne Durga 5 and it's phenomenal. Mechanics are very very light and ergonomic. Engravings are superb. Case is good but nothing special,I'm sticking with my Protec case.
