The perfect damper for main snare drums. You have three options in one simple device. The magnets are strong enough to keep it in the right position you put it, but since the leather is a bit thick and not so flexible, to keep it's form straight, always leave it on the top head with both ends on the drum head. It needs some time to adjust all forms you force it to stay. Clamping to the hoop is a bit of a chalange for some thick hoops like the dw True Hoops. But once it's done it stays firm on the hoop. And I see no reason to remove it. And this is the perfect colour for the Aquarian Vintage/Evans Calftone yelowish heads.
