SOMA Pulsar-23 Orange

I sit for hours playing this thing. It's my favourite Instrument. I've had it for weeks and there's so many things I've discovered, and things I haven't tried yet.
It needs more LFO's (but this can be done externally,) and I really wish the tuning of the bass drum could be controlled with midi like you can with the bass module (this has at least not worked when sequencing it with the beatstep pro, and although you can use CV to tune the bass drum, this is a tedious process.)
9/10, absolutely worth the price.

Wer bei "Organismic" an das Wort denkt, das die selbe Endung hat wie Apfelmus, der liegt schon mal falsch! Organismic bezieht sich auf Organismen. Diese können auf vielfältige Art und Weise interagieren. Genau das ist das Prinzip dieses Synthesizers! Man kann mittels Krokodilklemmen nahezu alles mit allem verbinden ohne dass es kaputt geht!
Für Anfänger oder Leute, die schnell ein paar Drumsounds brauchen um einen Track fertig abzumischen, ist das Gerät eher weniger zu empfehlen.
Experimentelle live artists, Klangkünstler, Tüftler und Nerds werden sich schnell verlieben! Qualität und Verarbeitung ist über jeden Zweifel erhaben! Der Klang ist phänomenal! Es schmatzt, knackt, brummt und knattert bis sich die Balken biegen wenn man an den Reglern rumschraubt. Durch den semimodularen Aufbau und den damit entstehenden Rückkopplungsschleifen sind die Möglichkeiten zur Klangerzeugung nahezu endlos. Auch für erfahrene Anwender empfiehlt es sich zuerst die Bedienungsanleitung zu lesen, da sich die Möglichkeiten dieses Synthesizers erst dadurch richtig erschließen.
Der Pulsar23 kann standalone, MIDI- oder spannungsgesteuert, sowie in einer Kombination aus allen dreien betrieben werden. Der Pulsar23 kommt in einer schicken Tasche daher, Krokoklemmen werden mitgeliefert. Für mich ein faszinierender Synthesizer, der den Preis von 2000€ absolut rechtfertigt!

This thing sounds sooo good !
Of course you have to be interested in modular synth but you don't need to be an expert.
As a classically trained musician, I found myself going back to something I missed for years, which is the work on tone, on the texture of the sound itself.
With other machines or computers, it was always like "well, this kick doesn't sound as good as I'd like to but I already pushed everything as far as it goes and if I push further, it just peaks or distorts..."
With this, I'm suddenly saying " This kick is amazing, and if I turn this button, it sounds different and still really beautiful ! and if i plug this here.. Yes ! " and it never ends... so many possibilities...
Often I feel like it doesn't even need anything else, I might actually release tracks made with only this machine.
