Der Encounter hat mein Board um knapp 75% verkleinert, aber meine Effekt-Optionen verdreifacht. Das Pedal klingt einfach gut und lässt sich intuitiv bedienen. Die Schnittstelle zum PC ist perfekt, um Effekte aufs genauste anzupassen und Midi hilft auch enorm.
Der Sound ist brutal. Sehr ambient lastig, lässt sich aber nach willen und wollen abändern und speichern. Mit 8 lokalen Speicherplätzen lassen sich sounds schnell speichern, um sie, falls gewollt, in die App hochzuladen. Ich würde auf jeden Fall empfehlen, sich vorher demos anzuschauen, um wirklich zu wissen, ob die Sounds des Encounters zu einem passen.
Den einzigen Kritik-Punkt, den ich wirklich hab ist, dass die Schnittstelle über Mini-USB und nicht über USB-C läuft. Außerdem ruckelt das Pedal manchmal, wenn man zu viel will. Nichts wirklich störendes, ist mir nur aufgefallen.
Alles in allem: Seit dem ich den Encounter hab, hab ich nicht mehr geschlafen. Brilliant für Produktions-Elemente und soundscape, aber genau so potent für den Einsatz live.

I'm very impressed with this pedal. It's not cheap, but it delivers. Flawless build quality, silent operation and switching. Tap tempo remarkably forgiving. Great app support over supplied USB cable. Full MIDI control, including expression. The reverbs and delays are top quality and cinematic. Particularly suited for soundscapes and ambient. You can get more normal delay and reverb sounds out of this too, but the reverb is definitely happier with long or even infinite reverberations. It really is a pedal to lose yourself in and I think it will be inspiring for me, as well as being a wow feature to deploy at times in live shows. Very happy so far.
