Startone Student III Violin Set 4/4

Well I don't really know what I expected. I simply bought this cheap violin as a little treat for myself. When it arrived I saw that one of the strings had snapped and the bow had a few loose strands of hair. It took me a few minutes before realizing that it had broke. I know that it is a cheap violin but I at least expected to get an instrument that wasn't broken on arrival. The damages doesn't seem to be the result of any wrong doing during shipment but instead just poor quality of the product. Would very much not recommend this for anyone who isn't a child and is starting of with an instrument for the first time.
