A really well rounded sounding (dirty) boost.
This sounds like my tube practice amp. And then when I run this through my tube practice amp, it sounds like a bigger amp than it is. It's warm, it's fat, it's smooth, it's delicious. It pushes the tube so nicely on the clean channel, which is fantastic because the drive channel on my amp is so noisy I can't use it at all.
The reverb is hidden on the side, which I love! And it's a really tasty sounding reverb, too. The demo's I've heard don't sound as good as it does in real life. Best at the back end of the chain if you run pitch fx that require tracking a drier signal. It does sound really good in front of delay with the reverb on half, though. Choose your own sonic adventure.
Pros:
It's small and boosty and has bonus reverb.
It's reasonably priced.
It makes everything louder. Loud is good.
Con:
Dirty boost- although this was actually a pro for me as I want to emulate my amp via DI recording/re-amping.
