Takamine GD30CE-NAT-LH

I bought this guitar mainly as a second guitar for gigs — just to have another option in my collection. For the last eight years, my main acoustic has been a Martin dreadnought that costs around twice as much as this Takamine, so honestly, I was pretty skeptical before ordering it.

Since I’m left-handed, I rarely get the chance to try guitars before buying them, so this was basically a blind purchase based on reviews and YouTube videos.

And after finally taking it into my hands?

I’m absolutely blown away.

The action, the sound, the looks, the preamp — everything about this guitar feels far beyond its price range. Honestly, if this guitar cost twice as much after what I experienced, I still wouldn’t hesitate to pay for it.

My Martin is still king when it comes to pure acoustic sound. Martin dreadnoughts have that huge, rich bass response that sounds phenomenal unplugged. But live on stage, that can sometimes become a challenge because those bass frequencies can create feedback and require extra work with EQ.

This Takamine, on the other hand, is an absolute monster when plugged in.

The sound is incredibly balanced, clear, and controlled. With just a slight touch of EQ on the onboard preamp, this guitar absolutely shines. No feedback issues, no fighting with frequencies — it just works.

And the neck… wow.

It’s unbelievably comfortable to play. The action straight from the factory is beautiful, and even with the stock 12-gauge strings, the guitar feels smooth and effortless. It honestly plays and sounds like a guitar that should cost at least twice as much.

I’m so happy I trusted my instincts and bought it without trying it first. In fact, I’ll probably leave my Martin at home for a while and start taking this one to gigs instead — and that says everything.

If you’re looking for a reliable stage guitar that will become your workhorse, don’t even hesitate to buy this one. In this price range, I genuinely don’t think you’ll find another guitar that gives this much quality, comfort, and joy.

Absolutely brilliant experience from start to finish.

Wow, für den Preis ist das aus meiner Sicht eine unschlagbare Gitarre. Die Verarbeitung ist sehr hochwertig, die Gitarre ist sehr stimmstabil und kam auch Schon perfekt eingestellt. Klasse Thomann , Daumen hoch.
Der Sound ist warm und doch kraftvoll, sie klingt als kostet sie das Doppelte , ich bin wirklich begeistert. Das ist meine erste Takamine , aber sicher nicht meine Letzte. Das Tonabnehmersystem ist ebenfalls gut verarbeitet und hat einen 3 Band Equalizer , der genau das macht was er soll und zwar die Bässe, Mitten und Höhen regeln. Auch der Tuner ist zu gebrauche und arbeitet sehr genau . Absolute Kaufempfehlung. Wären mehr Sterne möglich gewesen , ich hätte sie gegeben...
