Great ''little'' upgrade

I added the Tama PW620 washers to my new Tama Superstar Classic kit. These extra washers doesn't come with beginners/intermediate drum kits. They make the tuning easier but the most important is that the drums stay in tune even with 1,6mm triple flanged hoops. Great product, really cheap, and an absolute ''must'' add on for your kit.

I have a Mapex snare and after 5-6 years the washers (nylon) become very thin or broken and it was very difficult to tune it. Actually I always had a lot of problem with the Mapex hardver. Anyway! These washers seem much harder and durable. After 5 months they are in the same kilter.

Good addition to a kit

I think it's essential to a kit to stay in tune. These little guys are a pretty handy tool and "transparent" (they are black but you know what I mean). They "lock" the lugs and it's less likely to get loose, therefore out of tune. Impeccable. I like it. and it's Tama but I'm biased for the brand :)

Tama plastic washers are industry standard for this applications. No mistake if you choose Tama like me..

They work

I recently bought a Ludwig Supralite snare drum, which detunes really fast. REALLY FAST. So i bought these, and they actually work! I don't have to tune after every 3 songs anymore. I really recommend this product. Thumbs up!

Favourite washers

These are my favourite drum tension rod washers, and I use them on every drum that I have to tune. They reduce hoop damage compared to metal washers. They make tuning a little easier as the rod turns smoothly. I also prefer these to the thinner cheaper ones that are available.

They just work.

Well made, stealth look on your dark drum kit. And they also prevent your tom/snare drum from detuning.

what can i say i just needed some so yeah not alot to them but you kinda need em and thaught id go with my fave brand as im loyal

The smoother tuning experience i've had..

Man, if you are still stuck with metal washers, you DEFINITELY have to try this product, it's extremely cheap but extremely helpful, you will be surprised on how smooth the tuning process will be, putting those nylon washers underneath the metal ones!!
