Very loud, very robust speaker. Excellent sound. Worth 2x the price

Let me tell you - this speaker is VERY loud, 50% louder than for example Yamaha DBR12. I don't know how they did it, it's impossible it has only 120 dB. It's lacking somehow in the bottom end comparing to modern cabinets, so maybe its the reason why it can have only 120 dBs when driven with pink noise. But subjectively it's one of the loudest speaker there are. It's ideal match for subs of any kind.
Very detailed higher frequencies, sometimes can be a bit harsh, but -1 on EQ can fix it. Wooden construction = sound is very "musical", much more than plastic cabinets. AB class amplification - very dynamic, much more forgiving whet it comes to distortion.

Speaker is worth 2x it's price. Very good finish, solid wooden construction. Disadvantages: heavy as hell. Almost impossible to put on the stand. No use for mobile DJ. Ideally for fixed installations

Witam bardzo dobry wybór silna mocna konstrukcja, mocny i dojrzaly dzwiek gram na nich juz ladnych pare lat i wszystko jest OK POLECAM

The best active speaker for a buck

This is next pack of these speakers we have ordered. Totally over 25 of them in our sound systems (paired with TA18 woofers). Used for small venue live music setups and as mobile PA system for bands and DJs. Very robust, simple, powerful. Quite heavy though (wooden cabinet) ? but that's what makes it so reliable I think. Since 2007 we use it continuously without hassle.
Thomann service without any issues.
