This 12 channel desk, straight from the box, took minutes to set up. The controls are easy and straightforward to use, well laid out and clearly labelled. Connecting to an amp or powered speakers is simple and the range of control is good. The FX are different from other desks I have used but after a few minutes playing around the desired FX was found and sent to both monitors and FOH. For a small band, even a studio this is a well prices and versatile desk with very low noise (I tried at full volume through a 5000w PA and only the slightest system noise could be heard).
The only thing I would like to see is a gain control on the 7/8 and 9/10 channels just to give a bit more control. Possibly the inclusion of a compressor on a couple of the mic channels would also help. But this is not expected on a desk at this price.
I would not hesitate to recommend this desk.

I bought the t.mix xmix 1202 FX USB and overall, it’s a great mixer for the price. The sound is clean, the built-in effects are surprisingly good, and the USB connection works flawlessly. Perfect for small gigs, band practice, or a home studio setup.

The only downside is the lack of a mute button on the channels. It would make live work or quick adjustments a lot easier. Still, that’s a minor issue considering the features and value you get.

Recommended if you need a reliable and affordable compact mixer!
