Thomann FH-1000L Flugelhorn

This was purchased for a teenage learner who had been renting an instrument from school and playing in a youth brass band in England. We know very little about brass instruments but have only good things to say about this flugelhorn.

The finish seems good, the sound is good, the inlays on the keys is a nice touch. The slider is attached with metal parts so can't be broken off, like the previous flugelhorn my child used. The flugelhorn as a while seems to be good quality.

The flugelhorn comes with a fabric case which converts into a backpack - the backpack straps can be zipped away and the outer pocket locks with a key. There are other accessories included - mouthpiece, valve oil, cork grease, an extra shoulder strap, white gloves and instruction manual in English French and German.
