Thomann MK I Handmade Tenor Sax

The Thomanm Mk1 handmade tenor is a good Value for Money. Despite the shipping and handling, the sax player great (without needing any repairs) right out of the box. The Sax case is very sturdy and protected the Sax well in transit. The Sax is very bright for my taste so i use a dark sounding mouthpiece Rousseau Studio Jazz 6 which brings out the best quality of the Sax when paired with Vandoren Java Red box 3. It's a good buy

Very impressed with sound quality for what is a mid range instrument .a few leaks on first blow but have now sorted them with a little adjustment.full range easily accessible good tone from top to bottom, it does require a decent mouth piece though to fully appreciate this horn . Made in Vietnam which might put some buyers off.
