Cheap and cheerful alto
Edges are a bit rough, but it's basically a working instrument for trying out alto playing as far as I can tell. Second octave does get hard above F or so. Don't know if that's me or the flute as I don't have other altos and am a complete beginner with this instrument.

I was comparing, and german system seems more open. With lots of air if necessary. To play folklore songs it seems nice. I’m using both alto and soprano, with the bamboo kids.

Bei zehn Euro mag man vergeblich nach der Handwerkskunst suchen, aber dafür kann ich ich die Alto Blockflöte ausprobieren, ohne eine hochwertige Flöte misshandeln zu müssen.
Die Flöte kam dreiteilig in einem schwarzen Etui (ca. 11x35cm) an. Darin die "Recorder Cream" zum Einfetten, ein Stab ohne Tuch zum Reinigen und ein Blatt mit der Tonleiter.
Die Griffweise ist am Anfang doch recht ungewohnt und so ist die Daumenstütze. Die Flöte lässt sich aber auch ohne die Stütze problemlos halten, ohne dass sie im Weg wäre. Ich habe davor Soprano Blockflöte gespielt und die Umstellung war bist auf die Größe der Flöte minimal.
Das Skyrim Theme konnte ich ohne Probleme nachspielen, der Ton war klar und auch die tiefen Töne klangen super an. Das Kondenswasser war eher ein Problem, wenn die Flöte zu kühl gelagert war. Ansonsten top.
Ich werde mit dieser Flöte wahrscheinlich noch länger spielen und wenn mein Gelbeutel mitmacht, habe ich schon die Versionen aus Holz beäugt.

Very very very good value for money!
I bought this recorder to start out on the Alto just before I empty my bank account with a wooden one, and this was such a great Alto with a nice tone and it is so easy to blow. Thank you Thomann for creating such a cheap but reliable plastic Alto Recorder!

Amazing smoky tone right out of the bat, plastic is easier to play if you're new, records well!
