Good but with caveat

I bought it to play at home and have it under my desk when there is no one at home. Started using it live on small private gigs (connected with mixer). It works fine. Sound is okay, a bit boomy.
Also amp in this one is more noisy than I am used compared to units double the price. There is only low cut and mid scoope button (no control over freq)
I like the weight and size and it packs a punch.

Ja klar, das FRFR Thema ist halt unvermeidbar. Ich wollte diese aktive Box eigentlich für meinen Modeller als ganz "stand allone" verwenden. Aber da fehlt ihr für live+rockig leider etwas der Attack "Hammer". Nicht daß es schlecht klänge, aber einen (oder mehrere) echte 12"er kannst halt damit schlecht ausstechen, bzw. ihnen das Wasser reichen. Ich habe das "FRFR for rock" Projekt aufgegeben, verwende das wirklich gute Valeton Stück aber im Proberaum und bei Auftritten als persönlichen Lautmacher von hinten für die akustische Gitarre. Und das passt dann wirklich ausgezeichnet, nein, ist top! Das kann sie. Zusammenfassung: Gute, schnörkellose, kräftige FRFR, für rockige e-Gitarre nur im Mini-Beisl-Gig (Kleinkneipe) verwendbar. Für akustische Gitarre aber ein Traum!
