Plate No. 1: Great resonance with rich, sonorous tones, runs in the same direction as the fibres of the reed, giving it a very light response and incredibly easy articulation (especially with staccato)
Plate No. 2: More compact, centred sound, soft balanced sound, very easy response
Plate No. 3: The reed vibrates completely unaffected, creating a highly flexible sound for the greatest possible musical expression

Solid replacement

This was a replacement part as I had lost 2 of the plates for my Alto ligature.
I recently bought a new mouthpiece, and wanted to try out the variations that the Optimum lig can offer. These arrived very quickly in the UK - well done Thomann.
Not the most exciting of products, but this is the only place I could find them and they are exactly as advertised.
The plates are well crafted, I cannot see any defects at all and functions exactly as hoped.

Original Druckplatten, genau baugleich mit den Plättchen die ich vor fast 10 Jahren mit meiner Vandoren Ligature gekauft habe. Sehr schön hier ein Ersatz zu finden ohne gleich ein neues Teil kaufen zu müssen.

Para mi es una de las mejores abrazaderas que hay en el mercado. Se adapta a tu forma de tocar y al estilo con las tres placas de presión. Muy recomendable.
