Vic Firth SAT Ahmir "Questlove" Thompson

As a big fan of Questlove his work, I bought these sticks wondering how different they were from a standard 5A and how they were formed for him.
He is a pocket drummer, not playing a lot of notes and not that often on high volume, but he still has definition on toms and cymbals. This pair of sticks really feels like an extension of his playing.
It's longer and thinner than a normal 5A and it has the VicGrip in a black finish. The oval tip sounds great for defined sounds. I recommend this for players who are looking for a light stick with grip, and who wants something else :-)
