I bought this as a replacement driver for a very old Fostex 6301 active speaker.
Soudwise it's absolutely ok for this.
Mechanically it needs either a spacer to lift the driver chassis 3mm out of the enclosure, or the main capacitor on the amplifier pcb has to be replaced for one that is slightly less tall.
the screw down tabs of the speaker chassis are a bit flimsy.
