Very useful if you like the rounded rim
This is a nice shallow 5C style mouthpiece top without too sharp an edge on it. For some reason, the 5MD feels wider and flatter. It can make an orchestral sound with a big backbore and play higher jazz with a small backbore. Very versatile.
