Wincent 40H Hard Wire Brushes

Outstanding brushes! Top quality plus a choice of wire weights make any of the Wincent brushes an excellent choice. I prefer the heavy gauge for live playing but have tried all 3 weights and each has its own sound so you can switch between them for different effects. The handle thickness is also closer to that of a 5B stick for those who find like me most other brushes a little too skinny. Ive just replaced a heavy gauge pair after a year and half, playing around 170 gigs in a country band playing train beats with rim shots etc. They last!!!

Good brushes to play live. They are rubbered which is nice, but it discoloured to your hand when playing. Easy to remove with soap and water.
Disappointed by the lifetime as one of the brush has lost 50% of its wires after 6 gigs. The other one is still fine. As I don't especially set each brush for a specific hand, I alternate them regularly. So I guess the one which has lost a lot of its wires may had a defect.
