A surprise to be sure but a welcome one
I am hesitant when it comes to trying out a new brand of sticks. Most of them don't survive one rehearsal with plenty of rimshot playing. I had to stick to pro mark and vic firth for that reason (pun intended) since they are sturdy enough for that matter unlike the budget options from the same manufacturers (nova and LA special). I found that one pair of premium quality would outlast three pairs of budget ones which totally pays off when it comes to price difference.
However those Wincent guys i can say are totally on par with the other big name hickory sticks. Well balanced, well selected and the price is a great bonus. Totally worth it and definitely ordering again.
And yes, 5B series have 3 different length options, how cool is that?
