Cool and good guitar
I bought this for my 2-year old son to introduce him to instruments. But in fact I have been playing the GL1 as much as he have done. It feels very solid, good sound, good quality and stays really good in tune. As my son now is 3,5, years old the guitar have gone through a lot over the past two years, but it still is really great except from a couple of dings. But it still sounds really nice. I have been using it as a travel guitar, "jam-in-the-sofa guitar and so on. really great product with good quality and sound with a lot of different areas of use.

I wanted something for my 6 year kind to be his own. He looks all over my guitars hanged on the walls and wants his own for some time now.
On the other side, it is pretty small and compact and it can fit even in hand bag in a plane. We can take it easily with us on a holiday, so I can spend some time with strings under my fingers also :)
Should have bought it earlier.
I was in doubt either Yamaha GL1 or Thomann Guitarlele CW/PU De Luxe, and was closer to Thoman because of cutaway and pickup system, but my boy wanted Black, so We ended with GL1. No regrets for now :)
Update: after 6 years, we still love it :)

Realy cool instrument. Sounds well and quality is also ok. Don't think - buy at Thomann !!

Absolutely amazed with this one, the sound is full, warm and clear and the feeling completely comfortable.
Initially I bought it just for fun and to try it out, but I can honestly say that I can't let a day go by without playing it !

Crazy good sounding guitar
This instrument is great fun. Easy to play, very good for children, and sounds great. I end up playing it more than any other acoustic guitar i have because of the fun factor,
