ABM 30208n Standard Bolts M8

I bought these bolts along with an ABM bell brass bridge and aluminium tailpiece. All the parts are superbly made and have added significant sustain and clarity to my guitar, (a 2001 Japanese Love Rock LS70), the change is quite remarkable, obviously the change is a combination of all these parts. If you buy the tailpiece then do buy the matching bolts, the fit is snug with little or no tilt on the tailpiece.

Thomann and ABM were extremely helpful in helping me select the correct parts. However it did highlight one irritation, the tailpiece is supplied with US threaded bolts and I needed metric bolts, as I'm sure many people do. It seems silly to supply the tailpiece with bolts it just makes the tailpiece more expensive by £20.00 (UK Pounds). I actually wanted to try the aluminium and brass tailpieces but it would have cost over £140.00 (and I'd have had 2 sets of bolts I don't need). Whereas if they were sold separately I could have bought both tailpieces and a set of studs for around £100.00. As it is my tailpiece and correct bolts cost £80.00, it's a lot.

Would I pay it again, YES.

ABM legt seinen Brücken in der Regel Bolzen/Hülsen mit zölligem Gewinde bei, so auch der von mir bestellten Wrap-Around Brücke 3024. Blöd, wenn man die Brücke auf einer Gitarre mit metrischen Hülsen montieren möchte. Auf Anfrage hat mir ABM diese Bolzen (30208) als kompatiblen, metrischen Ersatz empfohlen.

Die Bolzen haben exakt die gleiche Passgenauigkeit/Spiel wie die original Beiliegenden. Ihr Kopf hat zwar einen minimal geringeren Durchmesser, was mich aber überhaupt nicht stört. Von daher: Daumen hoch.

Bleibt nur zu wünschen, dass ABM oder Thomann irgendwann mal beim Neukauf einer solchen Markenbrücke die Option "Metrisch oder Zöllig" anbietet bzw. einen kostenlosen Austausch.

Acheté pour accompagner un cordier 3020n sur une Epiphone LP Standard.
Tout en bronze nickelé (le jeu d'origine est en acier).
Achat en fait inutile dans mon cas car comme je retire les inserts d'origine, j'ai utilisé le jeu livré avec le 3020 avec filetage US (mêmes dimensions extérieures, 13 x 25 mm, seul le filetage change).
Difficile à prévoir quand on n'a pas les pièces en main ...
Attention, les inserts n'ont pas de collerette affleurant la table.

Il faut agrandir les trous : 12 x 22 mm sur l'Epiphone.
Servira surtout à ceux qui veulent éviter de retirer les inserts sur une fabrication asiatique en filetage M8, et changer seulement les vis. Ou faire un saut qualitatif sur l'ensemble.
