Sous une présentation qui semble infantile, la progression est bonne avec une exigence du fait de l'accompagnement qui impose le rythme.
Des doigtés de substitutions s'avèrent un complément fort utile au doigté régulier et aident dans les ornementations.
Une introduction à l'improvisation peut être appréciée suivant .
Le fait que le traité soit en allemand n'empêcherait pas de suivre la méthode même en l'absence de connaissance de la langue.
C'est une méthode pou un niveau élémentaire.
(intermédiaire entre préparatoire et cycle 2 du conservatoire)
