I ordered this cable at the same time as my AKG701 headphones as a back-up. The cable is well made and ready to fit, though the headphones have to be partially dismantled to do this. However, a quick internet search is all it takes to find out that it is quite easy to do.
As you would expect from AKG, the cable is of good quality made and is, of course, an exact replacement for the factory fitted one so I know that there will be no degradation of sound after fitting.
The price represents excellent value for money as purchasing one in the UK would have been very expensive.
