This remote does the job, but it's actually a bit small in the hand. If they had made it longer, the buttons would be slightly more easily accessible - but there would also be space for better batteries.

I would much prefer it ran off AA or AAA batteries as they are more cost effective, especially if you can use rechargeable ones. The remote does do power saving, but I wonder if the cost of button cells will add up quickly with repeated use - so much so, I keep putting the plastic shipping slip back in to preserve it as much as possible.
