Better than some very expensive compressors
The idea of having neve for $500 was tempting so I decided to give it a try.
But how it sounds? IMO nod bad at all. Better than some very expensive compressors. I used the slow realease compressor, fast release limiter. Not too much of everything. Does it sound like „neve” I don’t know. It sounds good though.
The unit looks well built except the knobs which break during operation (!). It is no big deal and people manage to repair this failure with simple methods but it's a drawback.
