Behringer DR110DSP

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the Behringer DR110DSP Active 10" 2-Way PA Speaker with DSP and Bluetooth, and let me tell you, it's nothing short of amazing.

From the moment I fired it up, the sound quality blew me away. The DR110DSP delivers crisp highs, punchy mids, and deep, resonant bass that fills any space with rich, immersive sound. Whether I was hosting a small gathering or a larger event, this speaker exceeded expectations with its clarity and power.

Whether I wanted to DJ from my phone or stream background music during breaks, the Bluetooth capability made it effortless.

This is truly a high quality speaker way above the price point.

However with my unit like others that I've read has the mic 1 , mic 2 volume pot problems. I just leave mine on 12oclock and I don't mess with it.
Bluetooth works good also !

But the biggest wired thing is that the unit has so much power but the signal is very easily clipping (Limit) and the sound starts to compress, and the input doesn't get not even 30-40%.

Maybe is the dsp fault dasign or maybe we can update the dsp somehow.
But for now you have to fiddle around and find the sweet spot for the input and output to get the maximum output from the unit !

I use this as a practice amp at home when playing bass. I got this in stead of a 'normal' amp because the price is similar, and I reckoned an active PA speaker might be useful in other non-bass-practicing scenarios.

The speaker is compact, solidly built and all the controls feel like quality. The Bluetooth is a nice touch. There is a fan on the back, and it's constantly on when the speaker is on, so there is a low hiss coming from the back that makes it less than ideal for quiet home bass practise. In noisier environments this will probably not be a problem at all.

The wedge shape makes it possible to position the speaker at two different angles depending on the requirement.

There is very little noise when cranked all the way up - I'm quite impressed by that.
