Boss PX-1 Plugout FX

I bouht it finaly to see for myself the most hated boss pedal ever. This pedal deliver what it promisses - a bunch of vintage boss fx's in a convenient package, to be used individually. The downside is a sound quality which is average (but not tragic). The digital processing to my ear ends at about 5 kHz so there is no high end "sparkle" in it. It does not disturb in distortion effects though. My biggest complaint is CE-2 emulation. Chorus sounds a bit two-dimensional. Moreover there is a lot of noise in it ! Second failure is a compressor with the attack time very long which makes it practically unusable. Definitely a pedal to consider on stage with ability to swich between two effects via external footswich.
