When a great quality may be a problem
That's exactly what I was looking for - small minijack socket (to fit in Blackbox device) and good metal connectors. However I didn't realise they may be problematic.
Once you connect the heavy metal sockets with quality jack cables (e.g. Neutrik metal plugs) they become very heavy and start pulling the minijack devices when hanging. So you need to be extra careful with minijack socket being much more fragile than regular 1/4" sockets.
