Great for voice overs
Preamp drives less demanding dynamic mics well enough, no issues with condenser microphones. Simple to dial in compressor and gate go a long way in livestreaming/podcasting/voice over situations.
Can't get anything better at this price range. I can vouch for it working well a year after purchase.

Works well with SM58
I use it with sm58, i have also triton preamp connected mind you. I have DBX set up to give a bit of gain, compressor works nicely, enhancer is nice, gate works. Knobs aren't wobbly, and you can audible difference then tinkering with parameters.
