Adoro le Blue Steel, anche se costano un po' di più rispetto ad altri tipi di corde, perchè il suono degrada davvero in maniera minima con l'utilizzo e si mantengono buone molto più a lungo.
Sulla 7 corde, che uso meno delle sei, le trovo indispensabili in quanto restano belle brillani anche dopo periodi di scarso utilizzo.
Inoltre trovo le corde Dean Markley ottime sia per il loro suono per per come mantengono l'accordatura.
Occhio al fatto che le blue steel hanno una tensione maggiore delle altre, da considerare se pensate di montarle su un ponte floyd rose!

Knick in der Leitung

Die Saiten brauchte ich für meine Schecter C1-FR. Vom Klang her sind die Drähte völlig überzeugend: brillant, mächtige aber trotzdem transparente Bässe, gut abgestimmte Lautstärke (H ist nicht zu laut/wummrig). In Bezug auf Verarbeitung und Handling gibt's allerdings zu meckern: die Saiten sind so verpackt, dass sie ca. 4 cm nach den Ballends einen 30-Grad Knick aufweisen. Auch nach dem Aufziehen bleibt dieser Knick, d.h. die Saite geht nach der Brücke erstmal hoch (oder runter, oder seitwärts). Das gibt sich erst nach einigen Tagen, d.h. gerade nach dem Saitenwechsel sind die Drähte erst mal nicht spielbar. Da muss man schon einige Tage warten. Ebenfalls wünsche ich mir eine bessere Saitenbeschriftung. Die Farbcodierung der Ballends ist nicht sehr sinnvoll, wenn man eine Floyd-Gitarre besitzt.

2 cordes de sol et pas de mi aigu...

Je monte des Dean Markley Blue Steel sur la plupart de mes guitares depuis 20 ans. C'est un régal à jouer mais force est de constater que la qualité a vraiment baissé. Ok pour ne plus emballer les cordes individuellement (au contraire : le sac plastique scellé les protège en théorie mieux de l'oxydation), mais c'est surtout pour les employés de Dean Markley qu'étiqueter les cordes serait utile : j'ai eu la surprise de trouver une seconde corde de sol et pas de mi aigu dans le set que j'ai reçu... Heureusement j'avais un paquet d'Ernie Ball sous la main pour sauver le weekend !
Elles deviennent difficile à trouver dans le commerce mais je commence à comprendre pourquoi...

Bien à l'utilisation, mais emballage criticable

Je me suis rabattu sur ces cordes, car je cherchais du 9-56 pour ma JP7, ce qui n'existe pas en pack cobalt. Ces Blue Steel font bien leur travail, le son est bon. Elles s'oxydent notablement plus vite que des cordes en cobalt, mais elles coûtent aussi moins cher, donc à la fin on s'y retrouve.

Par contre, les 7 cordes en vrac dans un seul sachet et sans aucune indication, je n'ai pas trouvé ça terrible...
