If You want to spice up Your boring solos this has to be in Your signal chain. The whammy part is very responsive but when active, even when fully depressed it will affect Your tone slightly - the calibration will not help, it is what it is. The DT part have noticeable lag when latching and a tad of latency when playing, not ideal when You want to play detuned the whole time and You play fast passages.
Other than that it's an amazing pedal. Built to last and ergonomic. You can even change the settings using Your foot - the knobs have a nice groves on the edge and resist a bit when turned.

It's a very versatile device. The only drawback is feeling that it's too 'plastic'.
