A logical development of the original Straplok

With the socket base 'buried' inside the guitar the leverage on the wood screw is substantially reduced. The two positive benefits of this are less strain on the small diameter wood screw and the whole strap button assembly just looks a whole lot slicker sitting closer to the guitar, instead of out on a limb with the traditional version.

If one has to find a negative, you could say that the old version allowed the strap button to be used with a normal 'hole-in-the-leather' strap, whereas this one always has to use the male Straplok attachment.

But as I never don't use a straplok'ed strap, this does not register as a disadvantage with me.

C'est le top du Straplock, par contre il faut être sûr de vouloir les monter...

Je m'explique étant donné qu'il faut agrandir le trou ( 8mm de diamètre ) de vissage pour pouvoir insérer la partie femelle dans le corps de la guitare on ne peut pas faire marche arrière, et si on veut revendre la guitare, il faudra vendre les straplocks avec.
Et si votre acheteur est un puriste aïe !!!

Mais quand on a essayé ben c'est dur d'utiliser autre chose, plus de vis d'attache courroie qui se dévissent et abîment le bois ( finalement les trous s'agrandissent) les décrochages intempestifs etc...

Et esthétiquement c'est beau, quand il n'y a pas de sangle, c'est invisible, on ne voit que le corps de la guitare...

Toutes mes guitares sont montées avec ces straplocks, de temps en temps un peu d'huile sur les billes pour l'entretien c'est tout, existent en chrome gold et noir
