EMG T-52 System BK

My Tele started giving me grief do to some electrical issues on my house. Having put the EMG GZR-P pickups in my P I knew these would be just as quiet and they are. They have a nice clear sound - almost too clear. My only real complaint about them is due to the shape of the bridge pick up. It's just slightly off from bog standard to the point that I had to drill the mounting holes for the pick to fit. Not a big deal but VERY annoying especially considering it's a EMG product.

Was soll ich sagen - ich habe in meiner Fender Mexico Tele schon einiges ausprobiert.
Normale passive Tele Pickups, Noiseless Pickups, mit verschiedenen Schaltungen, Kondensatoren, Treble Bleed usw.
Nichts davon kommt vom Sound an das EMG T-52 ran. Das Ding klingt so, wie ich mir eine Tele immer gewünscht habe. Bissig, aber der "Eispickel" lässt sich unheimlich gut mit der aktiven Tonkontrolle im Zaum halten. Sehr hoher Dynamik Umfang, und null Störgeräusche, bspw. auch im Proberaum mit reichlich Leuchtstoffröhren an der Decke...
Die Verarbeitung ist top, die Anleitung finde ich ziemlich gut gelungen, und es ist tatsächlich das erste Mal, dass ich bei so einem Umbau keinen Lötkolben gebraucht habe.
Alles gut durchdacht.
Allerdings würde ich damit rechnen, dass zumindest zur Unterbringung der 9V Batterie ein paar Holzarbeiten nötig sein können.
Ich musste ein paar Millimeter "Luft" in der Aussparung unter der Kontrollplatte schaffen, damit Batterie und Kabel darunter passen.
Also besser nicht damit rechnen dass alles zwingend auf Anhieb ohne weitere Umbauten klappt!
Fazit: exzellenter Tele Ton mit Top Teilen, aber nicht ganz Plug & Play!

Bought this for a partscaster and it does the job extremely well. Way less hum than the stock pickups in my other Telecaster. The warmth and the dynamic range, especially on the neck pickup, is much better than I had expected – it all sounds much more Tele than anticipated, and I'm very happy about it. Installation was super easy and the pots attached to the control plate left enough room to place the 9V battery underneath, which meant I didn't have to drill a battery compartment cavity into the body of the guitar.
