Good quality fixtures with an unfortunate high-frequency whistling problem

We ordered 4 of these lights for using in video studios and conferences.

In general the lights are really good:
- The build quality is solid
- During testing over 2 workdays on 30...50% brightness we couldn't drain the battery below 50% according to the LED battery-indicator.
- At 80...100% you cannot see any flickering on camera when using full 1/50 or 1/60 shutter speeds
- Dimming below 80% you might see a very slight flicker depending on the conditions. Most probably it can be solved by using a clear scan shutter mode.
- The IR remote is responsive and comfortable to use

Unfortunately there is one big drawback which meant we couldn't comfortably use these lights in quiet spaces. The lights emit a high-frequency whistling sound that is quite audible above 50% brightness depending on which LED-s have been turned on. B and R where the "loudest" colors: turning them off or dimming the lights down to 50% eliminated most of the whistling.

For spaces with louder interiors (eg. concerts or bigger restaurants with people chatting) this will not be a problem, but for us this was an unfortunate deal breaker, which is why we have returned the lights to Thomann.

Wir haben erstmal 4 Stück davon bestellt um die Bars zu testen und nen großes Lob an Eurolite, dass man sich der Bar nochmal angenommen hat und die Anschlüsse jetzt hinten sind und auch die Plastikkappen nicht mehr verwendet wurden, sondern die Anschlüsse jetzt aus Blech sind.

Der Akku hielt bei einer Farbe 100% 2 Veranstaltungen von je 8h und hatte noch Restlaufzeit womit wir nicht gerechnet hätten.
Für den Preis macht man nichts falsch!

Gute Akku Leistung

Für den Preis ein überzeugendes Produkt. Leicht zu bedienen und mit toller Akku Leistung. Nach ca. 5 h Dauerbetrieb zeigt das Gerät noch 50% an. Das sollte für die meisten Gigs reichen. Die Lichtausbeute könnte etwas stärker sein. Für meine Zwecke ist es aber mehr als ausreichend. Würde ich wieder kaufen.
