I had a lot of friction turning in my tremelo arm, but maybe the threading was different from the fender arm I had. Otherwise good mass tremelo block, there was a small but noticeable improvement in sustain and 'zing' to the sound compared to the original zinc block I had.

Mein Block ist sehr gut und passgenau verarbeitet. Passt auf Fender AVRI sowieso. Genauso auf Fender Mexico Classic / Vintera Series. Hatte diesen Block auch schon im G0ELD0 Vintage Tremolo mit 56,5 mm Spacing. Aus dem einfachen Grund weil der Fender Block das zöllische U.S. Gewinde von 10/32 und nicht das metrische M5 wie bei vielen Nachahmerprodukten! Habe jetzt alle meine Gitten mit U.S. Mass umgerüstet. Ein Hebel für alle. Tipp: Der G0ELD0 Tremolo Hebel mit US Mass - 4,8 mm passt bestens und kostet nur 1/3 des Fender Vintage Original Hebels! In Verbindung mit dem Raw Vintage String Set mit den 5 weichen Federn ist der Block auf jeden Fall die ultimative Soundverbesserung. Mehr geht nicht! Schon alleine gegenüber einem Block aus Zinkdruckguss wie bei den MIM ist das eine enorme Soundverbesserung. Also, ob Replacement oder Tuning, Ich kann das Teil wärmstens empfehlen!

Le bloc est très brut, mais ce n'est pas grave. Ce qui est grave, c'est les biseaux pour retenir les cordes dans le chevalet. C'est fait avec une mèche qui laisse a peine un demi millimètre. C'est mal fait, je ne le mettrai pas sur ma guitare.

Honte à Fender...

Je suis plus que déçu par ce bloc de marque Fender, acheté pour ma Stratocaster 60 Vintera II (dont le CQ laisse également à désirer) : il est très mal usiné et fini, partiellement rouillé à la livraison, de plus du côté de la plaque tremolo, ce qui ne favorise pas le contact. Les cotes et les taraudages sont imprécis. De plus, il est livré sans vis ! Non, pas ça pour ma Strat ! Comme j'ai tenté de corriger les défauts, il me paraît maintenant difficile de le renvoyer... J'ai monté à la place un bloc chinois de la marque M... (avec vis) qui est d'une perfection absolue au centième de millimètre près, et le son est au rendez-vous. De plus, il coûte deux fois moins cher. Chers Fender, arrêtez de vous reposer sur vos lauriers et perdez votre arrogance ! Vos fidèles clients méritent mieux que cela. Par contre, mes guitares Harley Benton de chez Thomann sont toutes impeccables, pour un prix d'achat plus qu'avantageux ;-)
