Make no mistake this is Flight's take/copy of the Kala Night Owl. With that plaster ripped off let's talk!! The night owl doesn't come as a baritone for a start(yet). So win for flight! Also the baritone is cheaper than the kala tenor! Win again!! The bolt on neck is the reason the Aviator is cheap. I personally have no issue with that. Some people may not like it visually. I really don't think the sound suffers at all from this. The Baritone is loud, articulate and clear. As a slimline you can dig in a bit more than a full body baritone. It has a bit more attack. The Mango top give each uke a unique look as no two pieces of mago look alike. Each one looks custom. I was not a fan of the Aquilla bblack strings. They squeak a little on the plucking finger!! Swapped them for worth brown but kept the wound D and G. Fantastic uke for the money. Well done Flight and well done Thomann
