I bought these as an experiment for my Kala u-bass, I've tried the original strings and the Aquila thunder reds, the Galli strings give an excellent tone and feel, they feel tighter than the originals but still very easy to play, they're more stable too so less retuning. the tone is pretty close to the original and suits the U-Bass very well.

Ich habe einen Kala Nomat 4NT, das Ding macht alles, was es machen soll. Allerdings hat die E-Saite aus der Werksbespannung ein Problem: rollt sich massiv weg, kein Ton (schlabbert, deutlich leiser) und nicht oktavrein (weil zu dick).
Nach Beratung durch das Team habe ich diese hier besorgt.
+ alle Saiten gleich laut
+ super bespielbar
+ passen tatsächlich, man muss ihnen nur ein wenig Zeit geben; nach 3 Wochen sind sie auch weitgehend stimmstabil
+ oktavrein, so weit das auf einem akustischen Instrument möglich ist
- leider ist der Kontrabass-Ton doch (weitgehend) weg, mit ein wenig Spieltechnik kann man das retten

Fazit: anderer Ton, aber Problem behoben. Bei mir bleiben sie drauf, ich kann damit leben.

Avec les Galli strings, je retrouve la jouabilité à laquelle je suis habitué. Elles accrochent moins et sont plus tendues que les autres, ce qui me permet d'accorder en drop D, de jouer au médiator et de faire des bends.

Coté son, c'est similaire aux cordes d'origine: une sonorité bien ronde avec un peu plus d'aigus. Le volume est également similaire mais comme je peux utiliser un médiator, je peux même jouer plus fort.

J'en reprendrais à condition que leur durée de vie soit acceptable.
