I use it to carry micstands and subwoofer poles and it does the job perfectly, protects a lot and you can carry microphones on the top (I carry 2 shure SM58's and I put the mic clamps in the other free holes). There's also a compartment below, but I don't use it since it's "on the bottom" (even though you'd normally leave it laying down on the floor) and it feels like anything there could be smashed by the micstands (like a cable connector or so), but good to carry some emergency cable or so I suppose.

Since nowdays almost everything is mic'ed without stands or played through d.i.'s in my band, we really need only three vocal mics/stands. This bag is almost perfect solution to that. It fits our needs easilly and even has some room to throw in some extra mics and adapters.
There are three separate sections: One molded section for five mics, one for three mic stands and one small section for wires/adapters/etc. The bag is made from quite dense fabric and so far it has been holding pretty well. There is a handle for carrying and a strap for multitasking ;)
The only annoying thing (for me) is the stand-section, which is very soft and loose. Some harder material would keep the shape better when loading/unloading the stands.

Not quite right

We do gigs in various sizes, and the plan was to have everything that logically goes together in one bag, so that we didn't have to haul tons of cables and mic's to every event.

Pros:
The stand compartment works great.

Cons:
With the padded top, it gets floppy. We put our mics in up side down to make it easier to pull them out - otherwise the get somewhat stuck. The cable compartment doesnt really hold much, and ends up holding our mic clamps and no cables.

Good quality case, but just for stands

This is a great low cost case for three mic stands. I took out the microphone holder on the end as I found it takes up unnecessary room and wasn't convinced it would protect my mics as much as I would like (I just put my mics into another case).
