More Than Expected – A Phenomenal Instrument
A phenomenal guitar. The sound resonates better than on any other guitar I have ever owned. The sustain is practically endless, and all of this comes with the stock pickups. I’m planning to install an EMG Het Set in it and use it mainly for rhythm parts, as it is perfectly suited for that purpose. The neck is slightly thicker compared to modern models.
If someone intends to use it as a lead guitar, they won’t be disappointed either. The stock pickups, although I plan to replace them, are much better than I expected. I highly recommend it.
As with many Gibson guitars, there are some minor imperfections on the neck and fretboard finish. However, these are very small details and do not affect the playability, tone, or overall enjoyment of the instrument.
