Best classic PAF

Tomasz Sekundy 16.01.2024

Great sound - I like it very much. I checked most of the humbuckers in the neck. This pickup has tons of character and charisma. It is not the most universal pickup and will not work in every guitar. If your guitar is a bassy one, this won't be a good choice. It has a full bass and plays with a full sound. But this is THAT sound. It plays evenly forward, is both transparent and not muddy inside (Alnico 2) and has full dynamics, from pure tones to enhanced ones.

Gibson Pickups

Liamo Dublin 24.05.2020

Used the expert in Thomann to recommend some Gibson pickups to up grade my Epiphone as I wasn't sure what would be best. I took their word for it and ordered the P-57 CL vintage for neck and bridge.
Couldn't be happier with how my first upgrade went and the sund is just what I was looking for.
Well done Thoman, again :)

Awesome Pickups

Christian.... 06.09.2025

I ordered two of these pickups for my Epiphone Les Paul Custom in hopes of achieving a tone similar to that of Clapton, Zappa, and various blues artists. However, I noticed that the wiring for one of the pickups didn't seem to work; the copper wire appeared to be damaged when I checked it. I managed to solder the other pickup, and it turned out great! The sound is awesome, and the tone is lovely!

This pickups are a no brainer ,if you want a wonderful sound in your guitar.Excellent for a upgrade on your guitar, butt its not for metal ,but excellent for ambient, rock ,blues they are wonderful, and top quality and you can split them. And the price is also ok if you compare them with seymours and other high end brands.
