Gibson Tortoise Picks Heavy 12pc

The Gibson Tortoise Heavy picks have quickly become my go-to for electric guitar. The heavy gauge gives a solid, confident attack, which is great for precise picking and chunky rhythm parts. They glide over the strings smoothly but still give enough resistance to feel in control. The shape and bevel feel comfortable in the hand, and the surface offers just enough grip so they do not slip, even during longer sessions. They also seem quite durable – no noticeable wear after regular practice. A simple product, but very dependable and consistent from pick to pick.

I simply love these picks. From the minute they arrived I haven’t used any of the others I have. They feel brilliant, and give a richness to the tone of the guitar. I have used them on styles like rock blues metal and extreme metal. They work really well on any genre or style. And I think very reasonably priced for how high quality they are.

These are great plectrums. Good for metal but also in general for practising accuracy in scales, sweeps etc. Firm but still kinda organic feeling owing to the type of plastic used.
